Ladies Co-Driver Challenge Announces a Surprise 4th Event Joining the Bower Media Team at the SEMA Show

SEMA LCDCAfter initially announcing the three events that ladies could qualify to participate in for the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge, the RallyVenture event had to be replace with the Trail of Missions due to permitting issues. On the heels of this change, Charlene Bower has another surprise. The annual trade-only SEMA Show has been added to the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge as a fourth event.  Although not a driving event, the two ladies chosen will be part of the Bower Media team as Charlene Bower’s assistant and will have multiple business challenges presented to them.  Jobs will include taking pictures, helping with distribution of information, sitting in on 2017 planning meetings, being a testament to the Ladies Co-Driver Challenge and GEM Offroad programs, helping manage our Ladies Meet & Greet and more.  The evenings will be packed with social activities at events including the 2016 Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the 2016 SCORE Baja 1000 qualifying, BFGoodrich Tires parties, our Ladies Meet & Greet, plus many other parties.

The announcement of who will be joining the Bower Media team will be held on Facebook LIVE at the GEM Offroad Ladies Meet & Greet at the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival June 11th at 5pm PST.  Everyone is welcome to attend the event, or tune in LIVE via Facebook.  Then, fans will be able to follow along with the adventures on the Bower Media Facebook page as well as on the new GEM site.

“There is a lot of work that needs to be done at SEMA and there is a lot of amazing opportunities that only present themselves at SEMA.  This is one of the harder weeks of our business year and I look forward to being able to give someone the opportunity to participate in the challenge with me.  At the same time, it is also one of the most fun weeks of the year with the amazing events, networking and vehicles to see,” said Charlene Bower, Owner of Bower Media. “This is going to be a great opportunity for the girls that have a business mind and a lot of energy.  The real challenge will be keeping up with me for five days!”

SEMA LCDCThe Ladies Co-Driver contest was designed to gather entries from girls across the country, using social media, Bower Power Hour interviews and a special training weekend to help Charlene determine the best match to be her co-driver at three events in 2016: Monster Energy Trail of MissionsBFGoodrich Tires 36 Hours of Uwharrie, the all girl Rebelle Rally in October, and now the SEMA Show in Las Vegas that is trade only, not open to the general public. Each of these events will offer a unique experience alongside Charlene, as well as a behind the scenes look at the actual events themselves. The girls chosen will be Charlene’s second in command for the entirety of the event, and will have the opportunity to manage in all sorts of challenges to complete the event.  There will be five winners, one for each event this year and two for the SEMA Show.
