We have changed the Shirt Club!
Everything changes. Sometimes change is needed more than other times. I think we can all agree that this project needed changing. What I was never very open about was the challenges that I was having on the backside getting supplied the different shirts. I understand. Shirts were not their number one priority. Racing and keeping products rolling out the door were. The challenge with that is, getting shirts out the door was my priority, and yours.
So, we changed the Shirt & Swag Club to bring the designs in-house. I am still open to shirts from companies and racers, but I will order them and have my timely stock still coming in. I am also going to open up quarterly (or so) Tshirt design contests for anyone to submit their Ultimate Offroad Shirt Design that will be voted for on Social Media. Who knows, I may pick a second one as my personal favorite. Point being, we aren’t going to wait on anyone else anymore.
I know you have been inconvenienced by these delays, and I am sorry. I take full responsibility for my business and sometimes, that includes protecting my challenges…until there is the final straw! It happened. Welcome to change! J Thanks! ~ Charlene

The Craigslisticon belongs to Gabe, my producer for Bower Power Hour. When he started with us, his Jeep was a combination of a lot of different brands and parts. It’s not much better today, but we found its common theme: 80% of the accessories and upgrades have come from Craigslist. We found some of the ads that were posted for the parts and included them as a highlight on this shirt. Other parts we got from the vendors, like the BFG KO2 Tires, Raceline Wheels, WARN Winch, ARB Air Compressor, RCV Axles and JE Reel Driveline. We also utilized Artec and Yukon items for the axles we got off Craigslist. I think the build is pretty complete…but what Jeep build is ever complete?
I would like to give my personal opinion on the Craigslist items. It was a serious challenge. Half the people don’t know what they are selling. They also aren’t always willing to tell you the true history of the part and if all the component pieces are there. We found out those elements in the middle of the installation. The axles claimed the most time and challenge for us (yes, there was some cussing involved, lol). My conclusion at the end of the build is: Although it may be more money to go through a vendor to get the new parts, it can save you time, allows you to have a warrantee and utilize their helpline guilt-free. If you do go through Craigslist or buy used, be sure to understand exactly what you are looking at before you purchase. Find and take the parts list of what is supposed to be there. Have someone that understands the specs or can identify problems go with you. Be a smart shopper, not a fast deal shopper!
The build has been featured in the Tech and Tool segment of Bower Power Hour if you are interested in learning anything about the parts and install.

We used a lot of Zip Ties and Rags on this build! 30Pack Matt professionally tied all the wiring back for a professional look. The rags came in handy as we greased the axles and worked with the different parts. Some of it was a real mess! We also included some Raceline Wheels stickers and pamphlet along with a Yukon Gear & Axle pamphlet. We appreciate all the vendors that worked with us on the Cragislisticon, beyond what Gabe bought on Craigslist!
