GARDEN GROVE, CA MAY 17, 2010: Derek West had an exceptional race at the King of the Hammers Rausch Creek Qualifier. West took the pole position on Thursday with the top qualifying time, he had a clear shot at the win, and only momentarily gave it up, just to get it back and successfully complete the day with no issues.
“There were a lot of trees and rock climbs,” remembers West, “I hit a few trees, but nothing that the Raceline Wheels couldn’t stand up to. I had no tire or wheel issues all day, which was the demise of the other teams on my tail.”
Raceline Wheel drivers packed the top positions including Doug Bigelow, Chris Ridgway and Rick Mooneyham. “We are very proud of all the drivers to have such a great showing at this event. It goes to show that Raceline Wheels can perform in any environment,” commented Greg Mulkey, Raceline Racing Division Manager.
